Copy email folders

  • In swisscom e-mail, in the “my files” folder, I have created several folders to store received emails.

How to copy all these folders to PC hard drive?

    Thank you for your response

    • Hello @Chewiochies29 With Webmail it is only possible to save individual messages on the PC which will be stored as.eml files including attachments. It is not possible to save multiple messages or an entire folder.

To reread an.eml file you need an e-mail client program like Outlook or Thunderbird (you cannot reread it directly with Webmail).

The best solution to get messages out of the server is to use a mail client (Outlook or Thunderbird) and, using this client, move the folders/emails into the local part of the mail program’s data storage .
