Be careful when activating a 3rd TV-Box!

If you want to activate a third TV-Box for a short time (e.g. for a guest), you need to know the following: At the moment you are paying an extra 5.- chf for the second TV-Box. After activating the third box, you then pay an extra 9.90 chf for the Multiroom Max option. This means you can theoretically operate up to 4 additional boxes at no additional cost.

But ATTENTION: You can never go back to the old price model of 5.- for two boxes! The multiroom option (without Max) for just one TV box is no longer available!

Or to put it another way: Once you have operated three speakers, you can no longer go back to two. Just go back to a box (i.e. with the Multiroom option deactivated). This was confirmed to me today in the chat by an employee (not the idiotic SAM).

Pretty bold already?!

K-Tip, Kassenrutsch or the price monitor should get involved here!

Even if the K-Tipp/Kassenrutsch addresses the issue, Swisscom certainly won’t change that and doesn’t have to. Of course it’s unsightly and definitely more expensive than before if you only operate two TV boxes, but there’s nothing illegal about it. The providers never give you a guarantee that the prices, offer structure, etc. will always remain exactly the same, but always expressly reserve (price) changes. Every customer has agreed to this with the terms and conditions.
