Connect remote control

    • I had to order a new remote control because mine was already several years old and now suddenly some of the buttons no longer work.

    But it doesn’t work!

    The remote control flashes white, as described in the instructions, then after a while red once, that’s it.

    What can I do?

    • Which remote control is in use? I’m now going to look for the most common remote control and that is the UHD remote control:

      Reconnect the remote control:

      1. Switch the TV-Box off and then on again after a second.
      2. Wait until the TV-Box has started completely (a television picture appears).
      3. Press and release the TV-Box WPS button for 3 seconds.
      4. As soon as this screen appears, press the OK button on the Swisscom remote control. The LED will now flash white until the remote control is connected.

      If the connection cannot be established. Please call the Swisscom hotline on 0800 800 800

    Thanks for the info. I had the same problem. The instruction manual says nothing about three seconds. It just says “press”. And then the message appears that the box is now connected to the WLAN. Since you can’t press OK with the new remote control, nothing happens. But now the new part works.

    Thank you for this tip. Unfortunately, the instructions for the new remote control don’t say that the WPS button has to be pressed for three seconds, so it didn’t work.

    It definitely needs to be mentioned, otherwise you won’t be holding down the WPS button for long enough.
