myhostname.internet-box.ch : host not found

I configured my internetbox to be reachable via the internet, and the box said myhostname.internet-box.ch was active.

The problem is that when I try to access it from the internet, I don't even get a DNS server response for internet-box.ch

and of course myhostname.internet-box.ch yields no result as well

how to access my swisscom internetbox from the internet?

sorry if I wasn't clear, the problem is that there is no DNS found for internet-box.ch which i believe is Swisscom's Dynamic DNS service:

Use Swisscom DynDNS

and activate expert mode. In order to use a DNS name, the function must be activated in the web portal and an individual name defined.

so I did that, and activated myhostname.internet-box.ch

but neither that hostname nor internet-box.ch resolve in DNS.

At my place, it works correctly. Have you filled out all the fields correctly? Just be aware that if you test the VPN from your home Wi-Fi, it won't work. You need to test it at your place using only your smartphone or tablet's cellular data.

Maybe I provide a bit of background

I'm a web developer

I'm currently abroad

I can ping myhost.internet-box.ch

but I cannot access it

in any browser, connection times out

Windows VPN doesn't connect, times out too

I tried connecting from a VPN node in Switzerland, same result

I successfully tested the connection before leaving Switzerland, I don't understand what is happening.
