I think I have worked out why Swisscom is so expensive. I spent 40 mins in the online process to sign up for new account, all simple enough, select the package you want, scan your ID and then the systems tells you the date of birth is wrong….. Do it again, and again and it keeps coming back with
"Ordering is not possible
You have entered a different date of birth to the one we have stored in your profile. Please check your details or call us on the freephone number 0800 800 800."
So you phone them….. that now takes 58 mins of talking on the phone after which you don’t have the number that was offered to you, but that they managed to get and set up but to activate it you still have to go to the retail shop because the systems don’t work…..
So a simple process is about to take a full day in Swisscom man hours …..that’s not going to be cheap is it
