Premier League. Channel Canal Plus

Hi all

I subscribe to Swisscom Sports package. This includes the Canal Plus channel which shows the English premier league games.

but on the app it is asking me to "add channel"

when I click through it tells me I am subscribed.

I was trying to go back an hour and record a game to watch on my phone. But it doesn't let me have access to that channel. Very frustrating.

anybody know of a solution.? If not I will call Swisscom tomorrow. Don't think their lines are open on Sundays.

vegas If you want to have Replay you must first activate it. As long as it isn't activated you can't go back. And if it is activated you can go only to the time it was activated, to the time before it isn't possible.

This can be done TV air on the PC and also on the App.

It's not an activation issue.

it says I need to upgrade and buy the channel.

my guess is that you can't do replay with this canal plus channel. So really it's a bug in the message. It should say "replay unavailable " instead of you need to purchase the channel.

vegas I checked it, it is right, the channel has no replay (the replay pictogram is missing below, it is from the Swisscom channel list)

The message indeed seems to be a bug, I saw it on the Iphone App, too. But I have this channel and I could see the live match.

Canal+ Premier League. Just to be clear - irrespective of phones and replay issues - LIVE TV pictures of Wolves v Man City (17.9) and Brentford v Arsenal (18.9) were not streamed until well after the kick offs with goals scored missed.... The TV screens are blank and all purple in colour. Problem advised to Swisscom. This follows on from the complete failure to show Brighton v Crystal Palace on 4/9.

@Filduyau73 It is evident, that this problems result directly from supplier, so it is ok to advise it to Swisscom, but the same problems were also on the Canal+ App which is independent from Swisscom. So the first address to complain is Canal+ Suisse. Swisscom can only use the signals they get from them.

I understand your point. But our contract and cash payments are made to Swisscom.
They have their separate service with Canal Plus so they should also be complaining to them about the poor service.

Absolutely correct. I have spent an hour with Swisscom on the phone discussing this issue and gave the same opinion on contractual issues with the signal provider. I am awaiting feedback as to any contact between Swisscom and Canal+ which I suggested they initiate/investigate

It was a much higher quality service when DAZN had the rights.
