I bought a Cisco ATA 192 analogue telephone adapter (ATA) from Microspot. The ATA boots up correctly, connects to the Internet via a Swisscom Internet Box, and detects when the telephone is off-hook. But it is unable to connect to the Swisscom VoIP server and receive a dialtone. Swisscom technical support has looked at the problem in three sessions. They can see the ATA and login to it fine, but they don't have prior experience with any ATA and they don't understand why the phone connection doesn't work. Does anyone have successful experience of this ATA (or another model) with Swisscom, or have any suggestions for things they might try?
