DaoTe How can I change the default email font (Trebuchet) to another of the available fonts, for example Times New Roman or Tahoma?
Black Mamba @DaoTe thank's for contribution in a new post enable > Options then choose the HTML format font type choice is available in Settings make this option permanent Settings > Email Default format Send messages as HTML after change Save settings
LeylaG Hello @DaoTe Did the intervention of @Black Mamba help you out? You can reward him by marking his answer as a solution and giving him a like 🙂 Have a good day
DaoTe The solution did not do anything. I open a new mail, which is set to HTML, choose Tahoma (or another font) instead of the default Trebuchet, no problem. But when I click on Settings, it asks if I want to save the email or not and only then (whether I say yes or no) can I click on Save settings but when I open a new email the font has reverted to Trebuchet
Black Mamba @DaoTe thanks for the feedback which browser is used: Firefox, Safari, Edge, Chrome, others? and which system is installed: Microsoft PC, Apple Mac, other? Advice: test with another browser than the one usually used
Black Mamba @DaoTe There is no option to change the font and font size permanently to become the defaults (Trebuchet/Normal) another font choice must be made manually Tip: use an external email system such as Thunderbird (free) or Outlook (paid) the features are more numerous and the settings easily changeable on a permanent basis
DaoTe Thanks for your help. I have tried both Outlook and Thunderbird and am fond of neither. An obvious and simple solution would be for Swisscom Bluewin to modify the current software to permit clients to set their own defaults.
Black Mamba @DaoTe Thanks for the feedback An obvious and simple solution would be for Swisscom Bluewin to modify the current software to permit clients to set their own defaults. It is very improbable that Swisscom modifies in the near future the features of Webmail (Swisscom Bluewin), this would require a huge investment for a minority of concerned customers, the majority using already native messaging on smartphone or external messaging on a computer. But do we never know? You have to wait and arm with patience!
