Please add the ability to use a custom URL to update DynDNS records for providers that are not supported.

Please consider adding the option to disable unused Ethernet ports. For example, at the moment I'm not using the 10G port. It would be good to be able to disable the port. This would reduce also the power consumption.

Please consider adding the ability to register the Internet Box with third party VoIP providers.

Would be great to have some Power over Ethernet (PoE) support on the Swisscom devices. Connecting WLAN-Box and not having to power it separately would be very convenient. Maybe something to consider for IB5 and WB3.

Since XGS-PON (10Gbit/s - blue Internet L) is more energy efficient on Internet Box 4, why not offer it at the same price as 1Gbit/s (blue Internet M)? There are already examples in the marketplace where the maximum available speed is offered at the same price. In a home setting, hardly anybody can leverage 10Gbit/s to it's full capacity yet.

Swisscom already sells TP-Link switches preconfigured for its services. How about offering pre-configured prosumer routers at a slight premium? For example Mikrotik or Ubiquity.

Add the ability to Identify using which WiFi technology (g, n, ac, ax/WiFi 4, 5, 6) are clients connected in the topology map in the IB UI. Maybe only in "expert mode". It would be useful for troubleshooting and identifying devices.

Add the ability to control access to WiFi based on on the signal strength to the IB/WB system. That would allow for better control and handover of devices between the InternetBox and the WLANBoxes. For example the default could be auto, but also add the slider that goes from 0dB to -120dB and allow the user the select the minimum signal level (let's say -80dB) to connect. This would improve roaming between access points. Devices dropping below the set value would be kicked out and forced to reconnect to an access point (IB or WB) with stronger signal.

I cannot see separate connections for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. My old iPad only supports 2.4. need urgent help

This is not Internet-Box 4 specific. It's like the https access topic. All currently in use routers should be able to support 2FA for login.

Is it necessary or advisable to remove the SFP module from IB4 once the line is upgraded to 10Gbps and it's no longer used? Is there a reduction in power consumption if the module is removed?

Can I change the plug (the part that goes into the wall for power) to a normal smaller plug? Or is there a reason it's so big and has an LED.

NO, we recommend using only the equipment supplied by Swisscom

for LED light intensity, use a cover made of a non-heat-sensitive material

It's just a power supply. If you find one that matches the specifications, you can use it.

It's not recommended in order to avoid problems coming from using power supply out of spec.
