which blue TV subscription is used?

you only need a VPN for live TV, watch replay and recordings without a VPN

Well, I subscribed for BlueSport via Swisscom. With my subscription of SkySport I have no problem at all to access all via VPN from abroad. With Blue Sport I get the message that I won't be able to receive from abroad

@Kaflecke98 I can imagine that the Swisscom System recognizes if you use VPN from abroad and want to see Live Events on their own normally geo-blocked channels via a Swisscom based platform. I think that's the reason, that you don't have any problem by using the Sky Platform. The only way would be then to register the Event and to watch it afterwards (or you use the Replay function), but for that you don't need VPN.

First of all many thanks to all who react to my problem desription. I dont quite understand what is meant with geo blocking at swisscom. Sad to say that before subscribing to BlueSport via swisscom, I enquired if I could view their contents via VPN from abroad. Needless to say that I was told by swisscom I could.

@Kaflecke98 Geo-Blocking, means in that case, Swisscom (Blue Sports) has only the rights to broadcast Live Sports Events in that country they have the rights, and this is only Switzerland. You can get around this by faking a Swiss IP adress via VPN. I'm not sure, if that what I wrote above is the reason why it does not work from abroad for Blue Sports content, for normal Live TV (SF1, ARD, all the other channels) it actually works abroad with VPN. Possibly @LeylaG knows more, but as this not really legal, it could be that Swisscom won't answer this question.
