BBC Three is coming back

BBC Three is coming back as a linear channel (Feb 2022), also what for the Swisscom channel bouquet? Just as a suggestion

@madaley I’m aware that the other BBC channels and some other British channels also come from the same Astra satellite system, and by the way BBC Three was also on it before or is distributed via the same channels as the others BBC channel too and what it was like before it linearly ended 5 years ago. I’m not that pessimistic, we’ll see.

@madaley BBC Three will run on the same transponder as the other BBC HDs we already get on Blue TV:

@Pripahioff38 Yep, that’s the case, so I’m not pessimistic about it, but whether Swisscom will actually switch on the channel and if so, when, we’ll see, I hope so anyway.

@Stonck13 Can you please do me a favor and let me know whether you can get the channel via your satellite system from February 1st, thank you in advance.

@smoskito Good question but it wasn’t announced yesterday, Zattoo already has it in there. It’s a pity that Swisscom unfortunately didn’t use the “Change Day” yesterday 🥴.

But the channel or the BBC Three program window isn’t running quite smoothly, is it? At least since yesterday I’ve had really big artifacts when receiving via the apps. I think it’s still completely normal with the CBBC window.

Unfortunately, there is not yet an expanded CBBC/BBC Three EPG. The guide stops at the CBBC program… 🙁

@sejo Correct, the EPG will certainly still be corrected, these are starting difficulties that occur from time to time. I couldn’t find the artefacts on BBC, but I did spend half a day on CBBC. Let’s see, things will settle down.
