With the recent login adaptation of Swisscom login, I was prompted to enter a code, which is sent to my bluewin email address (my username), in order to login. As there was no way to login and read the code (which I needed to login), and forgetting that I could login with my mobile number (thus received the code via SMS), I followed the instructions to create a new username and password, using a third-party email address (so I can receive the login code).
I can now login to My Swisscom, but am told that I do not have a service package for e-mail and am required to order one in order to use the e-mail service. I have, until now, always had a @Bluewin.ch email address which has just disappeared. I am also unable to change back my username to the old one as am told it is in use.
Is there any way I can recover back my email account? I assume it is still active, as sending emails to it I do not get a response from the mailer daemon informing of a non-existent account. (just to check, I tried sending a test email to a @Bluewin.ch address composed of a random string of numbers and letters and did get a response from the mailer daemon with 'Address not found')
