Which file formats can be uploaded? – myCloud - Help
Files and documents can be uploaded to the “Files” area in any file format.
When uploading photos & videos, the following formats are supported: GIF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, TIF, TIFF, MP4, MOV, HEIC.
Please note: iOS live photos are stored on myCloud as normal photos and cannot be displayed as live photos.

Date taken: for photos & videos, the date they were taken is stored directly in the corresponding file. The date the photo/video was taken refers to the date/time it was first created, i.e. recorded.
Date created: the date of creation refers to the date/time the file was saved or archived and is set by your operating system (for example when moving, copying, or downloading the file). This is why the date of creation is often different from the actual date the photo/video was taken.
Date modified: the date of modification is adjusted every time you make changes to the file and you overwrite the original file. This could be the case when doing something like editing your photos with an image-editing program.

By default, your photos & videos are sorted in the following manner:
- In your Photos: according to the date taken from new to old
- In the Albums section: From new to old by creation date
- Within an album: By recording date from old to new
In the Albums area, you have the ability to adjust the sorting under “Newest first”. You can then sort your photos/videos according to date, file name or “Recently changed”.
If your photos & videos are not sorted in the correct order, there’s a very good chance that the date and time they were taken was not correctly set by the camera. You can check this by opening the corresponding photo or video and then clicking on (i) to see the photo’s/video’s information.
