Swisscom TV with Internet from QuickLine?

    We moved into a great old building apartment. Now we have discovered that although the house is connected to Swisscom internet, there is no cable leading into our apartment. A line from Quickline is installed there.

    Now we have the opportunity to have a swisscom line installed at our own expense and for expensive money. or we have to get internet and TV via quickline. However, I don’t want to give up swisscom tv.

    That’s why I had the idea of ​​getting internet from Quickline and connecting Swisscom TV there.

    Does anyone have experience with this or tips on how we should proceed?

      As far as I know, SC-TV is not possible via third-party providers, only TV-Air.

    It doesn’t work that way. Swisscom TV does not exist without Internet from Swisscom. Maybe Swisscom will step over its shadow and offer a reasonable OTT offer.

    A possible alternative is TV Air. For example via PC or an app on a mobile device and then transfer the image to the TV. Depending on the situation, it’s not very comfortable.

    As far as I know, this doesn’t work because the stream is only accessible from the Swisscom network.

    However, as already mentioned, a device, e.g. a tablet, can be used together with a Chromecast-enabled device (I don’t know whether Apple TV works). If you’re always zapping around it can be a hassle, but once you turn something on and stay there, it’s still handy.

    Have you received a concrete offer? On copper or glass? May we know what the approximate height is?
