This is the normal TV from Swisscom!

N.b. I have now moved it to the right place.
Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.
Do you have the opportunity to test and plug headphones directly into the TV-Box at the audio output to see whether the sound is OK there?

Which TV-Box do you have according to the link above?
Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.
Enea, thanks for the query, I got the Swisscombox exchanged, but that didn’t help either.
TV box settings, I don’t know what you mean…
I switch on the B&O TV with the B&O remote control, and I control everything else, including the volume, with the Swisscombox
The B&O TV has a central speaker from where the sound comes (perfect as ever with DVD) with TV hissing and crackling
It doesn’t matter whether the TV is loud and Swisscom is quiet or vice versa, it doesn’t work
The TV has been under repair since today, you can imagine that it’s the HDMI connections and they probably can’t be repaired with normal effort… as of today, not a good outlook…
Hello @scu
Thank you for the more detailed description. Is your B&O TV already back from repairs? If so, does this problem still exist? With my question “What audio settings have you made and what settings are currently active on your Swisscom TV-Box?” I’m referring to the audio settings that you can select for the TV-Box. When the TV-Box plays a station, you can use the Swisscom remote control to click on the Option button and then select one of three tones under “Audio”:
- Stereo
- Stereo TruVolume
3.Surround sound
Kind regards, Enea
Hello Enea
I remember we tried these settings too; Anyway the problem is the HDMI ports.
I’ll be able to pick up the device today and find out a way to connect it “differently via the Swisscombox” and that works according to the technician. I’m looking forward to another TV evening… and THANK YOU to everyone who supports me with troubleshooting!

At this point I would like to add one more thing:
You can (usually) also switch on the TV with the Swisscom remote control. Then you don’t have to deal with 2 FBs.
Info about it here: [/t5/TV-Wissensbox/TV-Ger%C3%A4t-und-Swisscom-TV-start-with-the-same-remote-control/ta-p/526669](https://commu nity.swisscom.ch/t5/TV-Wissensbox/TV-Ger%C3%A4t-und-Swisscom-TV-mit-same-Fernbedienung-starten/ta-p/526669)
It may be that it doesn’t work with B&O because it’s a rather “exotic” manufacturer, but you can try it
….keep on rockin'
Hello everyone,
It would be nice if someone who had the error could make a video with sound of the issue.
Unfortunately, I have no idea how the error really manifests itself in the customer.
Ev. It also helps to deactivate the various audio optimizers on the TV and test whether it works better or not.
Unfortunately, I don’t have an LG CX to test it myself… so I can’t really help with that.
