Internet-Booster was deactivated by swisscom!

The Internet-Booster connected to the cable at Internet-Box 2 looks white. (No connection to 4G) Intervention to helpdesk.

Answer: the booster was deactivated because the speed via cable was high enough!

When I now look at my Internet M subscription in Kundencenter, a pop-up appears with a reference to a speed improvement of up to 190 Mbit/s. with the Internet-Booster. Now what is true? What should I do?

Thanks Simon

Benefit from Internet-Booster

The speed on your DSL-Anschluss must be lower than 30 Mbit/s with a Vivo S or InOne home Internet S (40 Mbit/s). For customers with Internet S, the DSL speed must be lower than 40 Mbit/s. With a Vivo M or InOne home Internet M, the speed must be lower than 70Mbit/s.

Hello everyone

We found the problem and solved it.

@Pieyascheusch80: Your booster should deliver bandwidth again as usual. Thank you for a short feedback from your side.

@Jean-Pierre_Feron: Your Anschluss is better than the speed of your subscription, so the booster was activated automatically. disabled.

Best regards

@Roger G

Thank you for responding to these concerns.

The story (older) is a bit more complicated.

The booster was not automatically deactivated.

At that time I contacted the hotline to change my subscription on the condition that nothing would change for me (with Booster the measured speed was around 40 Mbit/s with a subscription of 100 Mbit/s).
The booster was deactivated and it was no longer possible to restore the old situation (even with a subscription change) because the booster was apparently given to someone else (within a very short time).
I still have the booster installed but turned off.

@Roger G Thank you very much for your help. Internet-Booster is running and visible to IB2, but with a weak connection to G4. (Mobile signal strength Good II) According to the Internet M product description, I should get up to 200 MB. Yes, I know that’s the theory. It seems more important to me at the moment that the thing isn’t cleaned up again by Swisscom in the IB2.
