The 169 IP that you see in the error message actually means your IBS no longer assigns an active IP.
To rule out configuration errors, it’s best to do a reset with the paper clip while the system is running and then see whether it can then assign the correct IP addresses again with the reloaded default values.
Addendum:
The Asus that is also attached to it, is it running in router or AP mode? If it runs in router mode, it must not have the same root IP as the Internet box, because if both routers use the default root address 192.168.1.1, for example, the 2 DHCP servers would get in each other’s way.
If the hard reset doesn’t help, I would replace the router.
