InOne Mobile Go: Surfing (without throttling) in Switzerland and the EU limited to 40 GB/Mt?

Now that the new subscriptions have been activated, the details for InOne say Mobile Go:

Surfing in Switzerland and the EU up to a maximum of 40 GB per month, then throttling to 128 kbit/s.

Does this mean that you receive 40 GB of credit per month, which is valid for Switzerland and the EU. If this is used up, will it be throttled to 128 kbit/s?

I thought there were no limits for surfing within Switzerland, similar to the old iOne Mobile subscriptions?

Hello @Zaty

This description is very misleading. We adjust the text. In Switzerland you can surf unlimitedly at the same speed. Thank you for the tip.

Greetings Samuel

I’ve now been helped and my subscription has been adjusted.:friendly_grin:

Excitingly, I now see a credit of 100MB for outside the EU, which will be renewed in 3 days. I didn’t see anything of that anywhere.:smile: But so be it, the Intercontinental Pack is the perfect solution and is activated before you travel anyway.

@Samsi

Yes, that’s what I thought too, because even if you get the International Pack instead of this promotion, you’ll still save enough that you can easily upgrade to the North America Pack for a month or two if you should then you need it. And you don’t even pay extra over the whole year, in fact you still save, if I didn’t calculate wrong…

I would also be interested to know if and when the change will take place. I received a special offer via SMS that will cost me exactly the same as before (inOne L with 3 MultiDevice SIM) and I accepted it. It was said that the migration would be automatic on February 25th…

Bad luck for Swisscom if they can’t do it or take so long until I switch manually. Because then I would even travel cheaper (CHF 10 to 30). Nothing against a North America pack as a subscription, as long as I don’t pay more than without it, but I don’t actually need that. I’m not even sure if the International Pack is worth it for me…

I received exactly the SMS offer, but the link in the SMS can no longer be clicked on, or the offer has expired…lol.

For me it was an offer for 110.- instead of 170.-Sfr.

So I was wondering why the subscription didn’t change automatically today.

When I called just now, the employee tried very hard to find the SMS offer again, but ultimately in vain.

So now it’s the Mobile Go with Connect Pack for 80.-, but without my call nothing would have happened because there were probably some problems with this SMS offer…?

@Luckypuck

Thanks for the info.
With overloaded hotlines and promotions that are ultimately unavailable, Swisscom is probably emulating conditions known from its competitor Salt from earlier times.

It would have been an ideal opportunity to entice at least some customers to still overpay for services they don’t need, despite the discount.
But if Swisscom screws up, it’s your own fault… Or have you come to the realization that it would have been a bit unfair to rip off customers with such an action?

Hehe…What you wrote suited me exactly. I would have taken the 110th offer and paid for it, even though I didn’t actually need it. The offer with everything “Pipapo” was 10.- per month cheaper than the old L subscription.

Now it’s just 80.- in the Mobile Go subscription with Connect Pack instead of 110.- I can live with that….:-)

@Luckypuck

That’s exactly why I switched manually.
And that worked without any problems in Kundencenter, with the system’s usual response times, as you would expect from online self-services.

And now I’m happy that, for a change, in addition to the constant expansion of the range, the price has once again become slightly cheaper.![:grin_smile:](https://community.swisscom.ch/html/@90EF9BABA1FE270ED8C459F9AB6A6446/images/smilies/grinning .png “:grin_smile:”)

@Anonymous

With a Swiss number abroad, you are “responsible” for the distance from Switzerland to other countries. This is called roaming. This in turn is included in the new subscriptions, so you don’t pay anything.

If someone from Switzerland calls a foreign number, they are in turn “responsible” for the connection between Switzerland and other countries.

Outside the EU, the Go also comes with 100MB/month: [https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/mobile/subscription-tariffs\_new.html/abos/aboFirst#tab%5Bselected%5D=2](https://www.swisscom.ch/de/ private customers/mobile/subscription-tariffs_new.html/abos/aboFirst#tab%5Bselected%5D=2)

    I have now changed the subscription for three users online. When changing subscriptions only the old subscriptions appear, but if you click on the arrow next to them on the right (yellow marking) then the new subscriptions appear.

    Can someone help me briefly? 😉

    Can you also add individual additional devices to the new subscriptions? So e.g. just the Apple Watch? Unfortunately, in Kundencenter you can only find the “Connect Pack” option for 3 devices and CHF 20.00 per month.

    No longer possible individually?

    Are there any problems on the Swisscom side if I activate a second SIM for the holidays that I only need when I’m on vacation and use it to operate a hotspot for my kids?

    @xtreme

    Yes, it’s possible with go. A watch costs CHF 5 per month, a tablet or smartphone costs CHF 10 per month on Multi Device.

    More in the Multi Device area:

    Yesterday I also had the change to the special offer (for CHF 80.– instead of CHF 120.– the go with the International Calls + Connect Pack option), which came via SMS, triggered a little earlier via the hotline, but in Kundencenter only the youth discount of CHF 20 is taken into account, is that the same for you?

    Hopefully it’s like last time and the discounts haven’t been applied correctly yet…

    Otherwise, I’m very happy with the new offers, especially if you live right next to the border, you no longer have to check every time whether you’re on a foreign network because of the previously limited roaming days. The change also comes in handy as we are going abroad for a long weekend. 🙂

    Hello everyone

    For various reasons, a downgrade with a device fee can only be carried out by Swisscom.

    Due to high demand, activation of the new inOne mobile subscription may be delayed until March 5, 2019. We will inform you via SMS as soon as the new tariff applies. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    I now wanted to upgrade my old subscription (Natel Entry) to InOne Go in Kundencenter. On the one hand, I would now have to confirm the CHF 80 per month (although this should only be 60 thanks to the InHome advantage) and on the other hand, it says very small at the bottom that the minimum contract period for this offer (new customer) is 24 months.

    Somehow everything isn’t so clear. I don’t like to confirm 80.- when I’m willing to pay 60.-. I also thought there was no longer a minimum contract period. Or does the new customer in brackets exclude this clause from extending an existing subscription?

    So I “successfully” switched from a inOne Mobile S… but the speed still doesn’t blow me away…. I averaged between 60 - 80 in various places in ZH. I only reached 100 very rarely.

    How does that look for you?

    Show original language (German)

    @mitsui1

    Speed will always be a problem if the cells are overloaded.

    But 60-80 is already a good value.
