Mysport via Sky app

  • Hello everyone, I read today that Mysports will be integrated into the Sky app.

Question: also with the Swisscom TV Box app?

The price itself seems high to me, v. A from next year. Do I understand it correctly: Sky must be subscribed to in order to subscribe to mysports to go?

Here is an excerpt from the mysports page:

Attractive price model including day pass

Attractive price model including day pass Anyone who would like to benefit from this offer can secure it before the end of the year at the attractive introductory price of CHF 29.90 / month (instead of CHF 49.80; Sky Sport for CHF 19.90 and MySports Go for CHF 29.90). The combination of Sky Sport and MySports Go is also available with the day pass for CHF 14.90.

    • Hello everyone

Have you heard? In addition to Sky Sport, Sky Show is now also available on Swisscom TV. With the Sky app you can watch sporting events, series and films from Sky directly on your TV-Box, your computer or smartphone.

You can find out all the details here.

      Kind regards, Miriam

No, (I read somewhere) at UPC’s request it will not work via the Swisscom and Sunrise box.

Yes, you have to subscribe to Sky. My Sports is just an additional package.

It should be particularly interesting for those who already have the Sky app. Anyone who gets MySports by the end of the year will only pay €10 and, according to Sky support, that will be forever.

Addendum on the subject of Swisscom Box. Sky’s website says:

    • Doc likes that.

    Another note about the price

    - The SKY Sport app costs 19.90 per month

    - MySports as an additional costs 29.90 per month

Existing customers who register for MySports by the end of the year will receive a 19.90 discount on MySports

New customers who register for the SKY app and MySports by the end of the year will also receive a 19.90 discount

This results in a subscription price for Sky Sports App and MySports of 29.90 and, according to support, this is valid forever.

Another important thing, if you think you’re going to get the Football Champions League, forget it. Sky has no rights for Switzerland.

I’m just wondering what UPC hopes to achieve by “raping” the Sky Sport app at Sunrise and Swisscom and excluding mySports from it.

First, they want to gain as many customers as possible via the Sky Sport app, and on the other hand, they then lock out everyone who doesn’t have a newer TV or doesn’t want to buy another box, out of principle.

Well, since I also had a subscription to UPC up until now just to watch ice hockey and a few other nice things, I now have to withdraw everything from UPC.

You can also be counterproductive, dear UPC 😉

At least there is still the Smart TV, or Apple TV, where the uncastrated SKY app is available.

I don’t think that customers will leave Sunrise or SC because of this.

The thing about the 10 Stutz is interesting, I’m really thinking about it. I already have the Sky app from QoQa

    12.- get

    Thanks for the detailed answers.

MySports suddenly started running today via the Sky Sport app on Swissscom TV. A mistake on Sky’s part, or will it stay that way? It would be great if that were the case…

The website still says that it doesn’t work via sunrise and swisscom ¯\(ツ)_/¯

I also think that this is more of a personal goal and that they are alienating some people who would otherwise have subscribed. Apparently they don’t need the extra sales.

Does “all sporting events” also include the Swiss ice hockey leagues on the Swisscom TV Box from next season? If not, your text is wrong.

    Hello @Gioni

With Sky Sport you can watch all sports events that Sky Sport offers in Switzerland (except MySports). Of course, this doesn’t mean all the sporting events that exist. I will adapt the knowledge article so that it is more understandable. Thanks for the feedback.

    Kind regards, Miriam

The app is now what most people wanted, except for the store (probably too much competition).

Now you should finally see that the MySports ban is removed. Right now I could imagine that MySports takes every new customer with a kiss of the hand. Many people are so comfortable that they would rather go without a MySports than watch it on an external device.

Therefore, Swisscom, take advantage of the opportunity until the new ice hockey season begins!

    Hello zame

The following news might interest you:

As of today, Swisscom sports fans have access to MySports in addition to the existing blue Sport offering - and thus to the entire range of games from the top Swiss football and ice hockey leagues as well as games from the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, the Bundesliga, many other European soccer leagues or the European and North American hockey leagues.

As a Swisscom customer, you can easily subscribe to the MySports channels with just a few clicks directly via the blue TV platform and pay with your Swisscom bill. To do this, go to the gear wheel at the top left of the home screen, then to the right to “Account” and then to “Channels & Subscriptions”. MySports is available for CHF 25 per month – starting today as a subscription and at a later date also as individual access.

Important to know: MySports is not part of blue Sport, but a separate subscription that you can book for CHF 25. You can still get blue Sport for CHF 29.90 per month. This means that for a total of CHF 54.90, sports fans have access to the entire range of games from the top Swiss football and ice hockey leagues as well as games from the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, the Bundesliga, many other European football leagues or the European and North American hockey leagues.

We hope you enjoy joining in the excitement!
