βPolskie Radio 1β (entspricht in etwa SRF1)"
P*** Radio entspricht in etwa SRF1?
Wie geil ist dass denn?
I would also very much like travelxp to be shown on Swisscon TV as soon as possible.
The travel genre is not represented anywhere else.
And since the end of February 2018, travelxp will also be available in German.
One more reason to turn it on. π
But if it can be seen on HD+, how do you get HD+? Canβt the HD+ channels only be received with an additional plug-in module? The Astra UHD channel on Swisscom TV is just one channel among many that you can receive on HD+. And the Astra UHD channel is also encrypted in the evening and at night.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks for any hints and advice.
You get HD+ via satellite. If, like me, you have a satellite dish in your house, you can connect the satellite cable directly to the TV. You will notice that the satellite reception delivers better quality than Swisscom TV.
You need HD+ to watch the private satellite channels in HD and the HD+ card costs β¬60, valid for 1 year.

Hello
Thank you very much for the answer.
As I understand it, you can only receive HD+ via satellite, which unfortunately isnβt a real option for me.
Otherwise, Iβm mostly satisfied with the Swisscom TV offer, but I do miss the travel channel travelxp 4k.
Hopefully something will happen at Swisscom, that would be really great.
HD+ doesnβt actually belong to Switzerland
Why?
Because with HD+ you only get the German channels in HD quality. Of course you can buy the HD+ card and have it extended. The private HD channels Pro7 Sat.1 etc. are all German, see H. German advertising window.
I had this for a few years before Swisscom TV.

Ps: In Germany, HD+ is also delivered via cable. In Switzerland only via satellite
Yes, unfortunately you cannot receive HD+ in Switzerland via cable, or rather via Swisscom TV.
If this were possible, I would probably have subscribed to this channel package long ago.
However, most of the channels offered on HD+ can already be received on Swisscom TV or Teleclub.
Just not the two UHD channels UHD1 and travelxp 4k, which is of course such a shame since the range of UHD channels isnβt all that extensive anyway. And the travel genre is completely missing from Swisscom TV, but there is a channel specifically for fashion fans. π Well, to each their own.
I donβt want to complain, but these two channels UHD1 and travelxp 4k simply belong on a cable network operator in the Swisscom heavyweight class. I know Swisscom as an innovative and progressive company that is usually one step ahead of the competition. Especially since travelxp 4k even broadcasts in HDR or HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma). Swisscom TV does not yet have such a channel in its range of channels. But this is the only way our technically advanced UHD televisions really come into their own.
Another note about UHD1. Of course itβs been up for quite some time. Unfortunately, nothing runs on it between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. because it is encrypted. By turning on UHD1 I mean that you can receive it around the clock. I would be happy to pay for a small monthly surcharge as well. Other channel packages can also be received for an additional charge, so why not additional UHD channels such as UHD1 (around the clock) and travelxp 4k.
Well, maybe something will happen in the near future, that would be really great! π
I have never watched the UHD 1 broadcast. Just watched the demo loop and found it to be good.
Insight UHD also brings good stuff via satellite and Swisscom TV.
FunBox 4K brings good things via satellite and also Swisscom TV (unfortunately only in any subscription).
HDR HGL is the broadcast standard for HDR TV transmission, and it looks AWESOME π
Please, you little fine UHD box, give us HDR, because you donβt need a license for that.
