Beovision 7-40 Audio Swisscom TV 2.0

Hello everyone

I have a question about how to connect the Beovision 7-40 television to Swisscom Box to get the sound. The picture runs via DVI-I Anschluss, but no sound….

I know that it is possible to connect external speakers to Swisscom Box, but in this case I would like to get the sound through the Beovision 7-40 speakers.

Does anyone have something similar and perhaps had an idea as to how something like this could be technically implemented (with a special adapter, etc.).

No sound is transmitted with DVI. Depending on the version of BV7, there are different options.

But what is always possible is to connect the sound via the Scart input through which the Swisscombox was programmed. The Swisscombox has a jack connection and the TV requires a Scart adapter, so a jack plug to 2 RCA plugs can be used.

If you program the Swisscombox on a PC, the cinch connection on the AV4 must be used

I can agree with Pendrino’s comments, these settings/connections are also set the same way on my B&O 7-40 and Swisscom TV 2.0 even runs over Dolby Digital without any problems.
