Hello @ph_chappuis,

Have you managed to connect your Internet-Booster since Wednesday? Have you already done a reset? You have a small “reset” hole on the back of the device, simply press there for a second. Then both LEDs will flash white, then the Booster will restart. Can you also try moving the Booster to another window? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hello @NathalieSI

Thank you for your response.

I tried these solutions, and unfortunately no improvement.

As for windows, I don’t have a lot of choice, the apartment is small and the 3 windows face the same side.

With my smartphone I don’t see any difference in 4G reception (it oscillates between 2 and 3 sticks, out of 4)

Good day

Good morning.

Unfortunately, even by moving the booster (inside) no improvement (well… yes, the indicator flashes white, instead of red) But still no connection

Stupid question, have you checked with a mobile phone that you have a Swisscom signal in your home?~

My question was actually very stupid given that you mention that you have 2-3 bars on your phone… so now we can return the question to Swisscom: “Are you sure that the cell to which ph_chapuis is connected is indeed activated for Internet Booster?”

Good morning,

I am in the north of Vaud, have no reception and after opening and closing the window 3 times the cable connecting the 2 devices broke. Too fragile.

This loads all these devices in the living room and now on the window although the design is not too bad.

Apartment Booster detects the signal, but does not connect (says the hotline employee who contacted me yesterday).
A new Booster will be sent to me, and I will return the current one.

I am also of this opinion.

    Good evening.

I finally received the replacement booster, and installed it.

On the other hand, there is absolutely no improvement, the booster refuses to connect to the mobile network. (The white light flashes forever, and the guide says that this means “the connection is in progress. >Wait until the LED light changes state (The flashing stops or the light turns red). Do not turn off the device!.”) It’s been like this for over 2 hours. (since installation therefore…)

Contact the Swisscom hotline on 0800 800 800, it’s free and inexpensive!

Or by contact form via the Customer Area

Request that the ticket not be closed and report that the issue remains open

Returned my defective device asking to replace it. After 3 weeks with no news I called the hotline who told me that I must call them first before returning the device because it was destroyed without further action . He sends me a new one exceptionally free of charge because it is worth 147.–….. To think that I have been paying a subscription for years with only half the debit……

So there are several solutions… (given the number of communications saying that the device is defective.)

Either I have no luck, and I have 2 lousy devices, or where I live does not allow this solution, although swisscom claims that it is possible otherwise this solution would not have been offered to me . (and in this case, I’m really grumpy)

In view of everything that has been done above, I would opt for the 2nd hypothesis… unfortunately. When you say that you have three “bars” of reception on your phone, do you have the 4G indication displayed? This happens to have good 2G-3G reception; but unfortunately no 4G at your home.

Bigre… It is more than certain that the “Internet Booster” service is not activated on the relay or that the internet booster itself has not been declared active on the network… When you connect to the Internet Booster console which screenshots you see may help.
