Install Ethernet cable around doors

  • Good morning,

I have to pass my Ethernet cable through the apartment, going around the doors.

How far can we bend the cable without damaging it?

    Is a 90° angle possible?

    Thank you for your advice.

Precisely so as not to break the metal core of the cable…

The flat cables supplied with SC devices support an even shorter radius.

Some people confuse electricity and plumbing…

You can bend an ethernet cable perfectly (And even wind it on itself): the electrons know how to take turns at high speed!:smileyvery-happy:

This is an unstoppable argument! I assume you are in the professional field of electrical installation?:smileysurprised:

As for the flat cables supplied by SC, you can bend them into twelve and it will still work. Cylindrical cables are more difficult to bend, but as long as you don’t break the core (And you’d have to really force it!), it will work too.
