Internetbox Admin website cannot be loaded

  • I received my internet box today. I actually wanted to access it offline via the Web-IF. Unfortunately, I receive a message that the site cannot be reached. All of this under Win7. A ping works perfectly!

Now I started a Grandpa XP on the same configuration. Lo and behold, I get the admin pages and can make changes.

Even from a Win7 laptop, the admin page cannot be started.

There are no functional differences between the browsers either, at most the error messages differ, but factually they say roughly the same thing for IE11 and Firefox.

My suspicion was that the Ethernet config must be wrong somehow, but without deeper knowledge I can’t identify the crucial parameter among the countless.

Maybe there is actually a crack here that can give me the decisive clue.

    Thanks

I just received a response from Kaspersky:

"We have now received feedback that this is a bug, software error, from Kaspersky, with the number: 1779411
A solution will be provided with the next release for the 2017 series, scheduled for the end of the year, in December."

This concerns KAV2017, for KIS you can ask with the bug number.

And you go to the Internet box via the browser with 192.168.1.1?

Do you have an additional firewall installed, e.g. in an antivirus protection program?

    @WalterB

Thank you very much for your tip. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the item regarding firewall in Kaspersky AV. However, I have disabled KAV, with zero success. So I uninstalled KAV and the admin website works again.

After reinstalling KAV it still worked. But a few hours later the same thing happened again; Error loading page.

I have now opened a ticket with Kaspersky. It can’t be that I keep uninstalling and reinstalling KAV:smileymad:

    Hello

I have already reported this problem to Kaspersky… I expect a fix in the next few weeks…

in my case this is Kaspersky Internet Security 17.0.0.611.

In any case, I recommend opening a Kaspersky ticket so that the “fix” for this problem can (perhaps) be completed more quickly.

Greetings and have a nice day

    BTW:

From another workstation, without the latest level of Kaspersky Internet Security or smartphone, access works without any problems
