Swisscom TV App 2.0 on Ipad / Constant audio/video desynchronisation

Hello,

for a while now, actually since the App update has come out, there is after a couple of minutes watching TV, a desynchronization between the audio and the video, on every channel.

Does anyone experience this?

Any idea to fix it?

I’ve tested the Swisscom TV 2.0 App on an iOS device (iPhone, not iPad). Unfortunately i have no iPad with me ATM.

On the iPhone I couldn’t find any desynchronisation between audio and video but I will test it on an iPad as soon as I have one available.

Have you already tried to delete the App completely and install it again from the Appstore?

I will come back to you asap.

Yip, same problem for me on 2 ipads. Logged already a topic on this forum but no help from someone. This seems to be an old bug as I can find posts from 2013!

I have tried with an Ipad 2 and an Ipad Air 2. The desync sound/image is getting worse hour after hour. When I pause the live, and restart again, both are in sync again for a while…

I never got this problem with apps like Wilmaa, TeleBoy or Zattoo..only with the new app of Swisscom 😞

I have erased and reinstalled the App, the problem persists.

This occurs on an IPad Air 1.

Same for me. Re-installed the app and same result.

HOWEVER, it seems to be linked to the “live” feature, cause when I use the “replay” function (I go back 30 seconds), all streaming goes fine. But the moment I watch live television again, the de-sync gets worse hour after hour. It becomes unusable.

I do not have this problem with Teleboy, Wilmaa or Zatoo so it must be the Swisscom app that is faulty. So fix it please!

I installed the latest update of the App but the de-sync bug is still there.

What do I need to do to have this fixed?

If there are some lost datapackages in the stream, this issue appears. With restarting the programme it should work. Swisscom is aware of this bug and together with the distributor they are working on a solution.

I installed the latest version of the app and the bug is still present: image comes 2-3 seconds after the sound. A restart of the application helps for a couple of minutes..
