WLAN Connection Kit with Swisscom TV 2.0 UHD?

    This Swisscom page for the WLAN Connection Kit indicates that the product uses the 802.11ac standard. On the other hand, I understand that the connection between the Internet Box and the Swisscom TV 2.0 only works well with this product. Is this right? So, is it not possible to use other hardware using the 802.11ac standard for this type of connection?

    Finally, do you know if the WLAN Connection Kit is compatible with the Swisscom TV 2.0 UHD?

    I haven’t seen anything about this on the Swisscom site and I therefore suspect that for the moment the speed of WLAN Connection Kit is too low for UHD but if you have any information on this subject, thank you in advance.

      I use these kits with my UHD box, and I have no problems! no freeze, nothing!

      previously, I had the other white kits, the ones that lay flat… there I had freeze.

      In my opinion you can buy these new kits with your eyes closed.

      while knowing that wifi remains wifi and potentially disruptive by its surroundings,

    Good morning,

    The BOx 2.0 UHD TV works with any configuration, as long as it has an Ethernet output.

    For my part, I use devolo CPL boxes, the connection is very stable and the configuration is easy.

    Then, it all depends on the age of your electrical installation…
