I can no longer turn off WLAN 2

  • Since I had problems with the WLAN connection with a new device, I set up WLAN 2 on a Pirelli BBS Centro Grande ISDN router to test various settings (WPA/WEP/unencrypted/with or without visible SSID).

Since I have now been able to solve the problem, I wanted to switch off WLAN 2 (and only WLAN 2, not WLAN 1 and WLAN 2) again using the Kundencenter. When I turn it off there it is marked as turned off but it is still active on the router.

I also tried restarting the router and even tried resetting the factory settings, but the state of WLAN 2 does not change.

    • I solved it: In Swisscom Kundencenter, delete the SSID under the WLAN 2 settings, enter the key and click on continue or save changes. Then WLAN 2 disappears in the router. There’s just one small problem: In Kundencenter, WLAN 1 is also gone!

But that can also be remedied: re-enter the information from WLAN 1 with the original data, then you have control over WLAN 1 again.
