htc sensation bootup jingle

Can swisscom please check with the next update so that you no longer have to listen to swisscom’s bootup jingle every time? It would be nice if I didn’t have to disturb the 10 people around during a reboot. Thanks!

Hello Tudor

Unfortunately, the jingle cannot be deactivated. If the phone is set to silent before it restarts, the jingle will also be silent.

Kind regards

…it is precisely because of such “useful” branding and its testing that it always takes so long for Swisscom to release device software updates….

duck-and-quick-away…..

….keep on rockin' 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

That’s just not true. The stupidest thing of all is that it still ‘jingles’ even when the phone is on silent.

Even worse when rebooting, it happens twice: when switching off and on…

This should definitely be removed in the next update, it’s pointless and annoying!

And it gets even worse guys: impossible to set a notification sound other than the one from swisscom. You can choose a different one in the settings, but in the end it’s still the swisscom notification that rings!:smileymad:

It really remains a mystery to me what use this ‘branding’ is supposed to do to us.

Not only is it extremely disturbing, the jingle is itself is also one of the most annoying I have ever heard! Na, na, na… na, na, na….aarrrgghhhh! Makes the Microsoft startup seem like Bach.

Swisscom please give us the option to remove it.

Doesn’t work with all phones and only when booting, not when shutting down…

It’s normal to know when you turned your phone off or on. Simply place it on your pants or put your finger on the speaker. Then you hear (almost) nothing anymore. This is the case with my Desire HD.

Since my brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 still plays the loud “nananaaaa” every time I turn it off and on, I’m taking this as an opportunity to post this again in the support forum.

Even if Swisscom Support cannot help at the moment (as it has not done in recent years), please bring this to the attention of the correct department for new product rollouts.

It’s extremely annoying (!!) when I have the whole family awake at night and in the morning because of the stupid sound.:smileymad:

Swisscom can advertise with the boat picture etc. (if it sees fit), but this loud song doesn’t work at all.

What is your information supposed to bring about in the article about the * Htc Sensation bootup * which is more than a year old?

It’s not a good idea to fill existing defined topic posts with completely different topics.

:smileywink:

Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.

That’s probably correct. The topic was just right. And what’s more, it doesn’t seem to have brought any improvement over the years.

Then I’d better make a new entry.
