Bridge internet Box or GUI mode advance

Good morning;
I wanted to know if there was not a way to switch the new Internet Box to a bridge, or to have access to the GUI interface forward.
I don’t understand why over time it is still not possible to do this at Swisscom, I remember that with the centro grando we could use the bridge mode, but now I find it a real shame that there is no no such possibility on the internet box.
If it is possible to add this expert option it would be a good plus for Swisscom.

My best regards.

Good morning,

I agree with you, more and more users need advanced functions.

Unfortunately, Swisscom’s strategy is rather to take a product with many functions and restrict it to make it available to customers. Concerning the Centro Grande they finally blocked access to advanced functions.

I find this really a shame because many customers are asking for a completely advanced faction, and this would really be a plus against the competition, many customers expecting that from Swisscom.
I’m sure if Swisscom puts an “expert connection to the box” button option and gives access to the advanced interface that would be a big plus.
But just bridge mode would be great.
If someone from Swisscom can pass the information on to the right people, thank you.

I am of the same opinion, I do not find QoS functionalities on the new router, the router seems to mix IP/MAC addresses of my server which has 2 network interfaces and when I bought a USB WIFI AC dongle, it could not find not the WIFI AC network of the router unless you separate the bands and configure the 5Ghz band in very specific channels (and this with two different brands of USB dongle, Asus and Netgear). I don’t know if it works better now, I switched to powerline adapters.

For all this, I would have happily invested in a top-of-the-line WLAN router and left the swisscom router as a bridge. Unless we can configure a commercially purchased router ourselves without going through the Swisscom router? I never inquired about this (I remember at the time we had a login/mdp so we could connect from a router other than that of swisscom quite easily).
