I also had contact with support and it was explained to me that this was an Outlook problem, but as I said here, no settings were changed for me either, and so far it has worked without any problems.

There must be a problem with the Swisscom server, as it works with other email providers via Outlook without any problems.

Please, dear Swisscom, comment on this, we thank you very much and check your server.

The error also appears differently for several email accounts in Outlook, two work and one doesn’t.

Hello everyone

There are currently disruptions to our email service. The Bluewin webmail is affected. The login only works to a limited extent for some customers. Furthermore, transmission errors can occur with mail programs (such as Microsoft Outlook) that synchronize with a Bluewin mail account. If your email account is affected by the disruption, please try accessing your email again at a later date. Your emails will not be lost; they will be delivered as usual after the problem has been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Best regards,

Swisscom

For me, an entire folder full of emails simply disappeared in Outlook. The answer was as simple as it was wrong: we don’t know Outlook and are not responsible for errors there. However, the folder in question disappeared everywhere (laptop, mobile phone and webmail) without me changing any of the settings. What is Swisscom (bluewin) doing to fix these errors? The lost emails are important!:smileymad:

I can agree with the statements of “Charlie33”, folders have disappeared for me too, but account settings that have to do with Bluewin can no longer be found. When I create a new one, there is a copy, but the original is not visible

Can you give us a reliable time when email will work normally again, even with documents sent via Outlook. It’s very tedious to get the same message every few minutes, enter your password and the server has…
Thanks for the quick fix, as many people also need the email for business.

Now it seems to be working again, at least with Outlook 2010 (PC) and Outlook 2011 (Mac) no more error messages appeared!

Unfortunately that is not the case.

Yes, you have tried that one, the error message is usually changed late until everything works 100% for everyone.

Yes, I tried that because Outlook is open all day, and it doesn’t work without errors, but only with Bluewin.

I can’t determine whether the problem still exists in certain regions; in the Baden region I no longer received any error messages from the users I support.

I only open Outlook sporadically, about every ½ hour or when I make an entry in the calendar or have to write a new email.

When reporting a fault, you can also request an SMS if the fault has been resolved.

The error message no longer occurred for me today (Basel-Stadt), but the lost mail folder is still missing.
