Swisscom TV and UHD 4K

    • Hello everyone,

    We are moving into a house at the end of the month. I ordered a new Panasonic UHD 4K TV.
    Now, after a lot of back and forth, I decided on the Vivo Casa 5*. 3 TV boxes
    were promised, 1 has now arrived, well the new Internet modem with WLAN module
    with new ac technology… But I’m surprised that I apparently received the TV 1.0.

    My question now:

    I ordered the WLAN Duo package, does it also work with the TV 1.0?
    And what about 4K films in the future? Will that work on TV 1.0?
    I’m a bit conflicted because I (tech freak) do everything via my Apple devices
    want to control 😞 can anyone give me tips?

      4K TV and SwisscomTV 1.0, the question is upscale or native. The problem here is the HDMI port/version. But I would only worry if there was a 4K channel or at least rental films. The main thing is that the TV supports it.

    Which surprises me a bit that you were still able to order the 5-star Vivo Casa (TV 1.0). A maximum of Vivo Casa 3 stars has been possible for about 2 months. Upwards, only TV2.0 with Vivo M,L,XL is the replacement for the previous 4 and 5 star offers.

    The connection kits work exactly the same, whether TV1.0 or 2.0. that has no influence

    4 Upskale is the only one available at the moment, as far as I know. That also has to do with HDMI 2.0, right? For the stream, this would have to be 40 MBit/S per stream, right? So it should at least be enough for 3 simultaneous streams with the connection set duo 👍😃

    Yes, I ordered the 5* exactly about 2 months ago, unfortunately no Swisscom MA pointed it out to me, and I have had to deal with various Swisscom support departments a few times in the meantime regarding various clarifications from ISDN to analogue connection etc. . No hint, in this way SC still earns CHF 20 more per month (comparison with the new M package) well, let’s see if that convinces me, it can be changed quickly.
