Unfortunately Swisscom has become a baby again who must learn how the telecommunication system works, and yes, it was great, but was destroyed, then rebuilt…

Swisscom no longer really belongs to Switzerland, so many loyal customers have not stayed there, now why pay more than elsewhere, and above all to whom should they pay more?

Despite everything swisscom tries in appearances to act as if nothing had changed… but if we compare this to a company like cablecom, which has recovered crappy networks throughout Switzerland, (and yes we were not all equal in front of the telenetwork) which modernized and improved it and made it stable, we realize that swisscom has lost speed….

swisscom, for its part, kept all of these existing infrastructures and deployed new ones. Jenesse bugs are absolutely not admissible. Because in theory, swisscom should be an old juggernaut. (with all the prices lost but accepted for the services and services, swisscom should have invented HD, boxes, and then offer the best guaranteed speeds everywhere in Switzerland)

Cablecom’s offers, despite the terrible customer service that is dear to them (or not precisely) remain from a price/service point of view much better than Swisscom.

I have generally been disappointed with swisscom for several years, despite the quality, kindness and competence of the technical service, sales etc… there are too many things that are no longer working,

previously focused on its customers, swisscom is reviewing its business model, and is now targeting profiles, margins, it is no longer our swisscom, but a company for anyone to whom it is difficult to give gifts of tolerance . we are no longer in exatitude, but pretty well in the almost, it works yes, sometimes, can we do that? it must be possible. which we are not used to, because we did not want to change.

here is a customer, who had cablecom,: box, internet 75/7 plus telephone with all of Switzerland for? 62-. (one breakdown in 5 years) and who, following his problem, ended up with swisscom and who saw the difference, both in terms of price, services and quality.

also when overnight your ADSL goes from 16Mb to 9Mb (subscription below for the price of 20 which you have never reached, and swisscom tells you that it is “normal” and that they are not going to do anything. you understand that the subscription in question was canceled the following day.

Swisscom is a very good company, not more expensive and better customer service, I have had Swisscom TV since July 2009 and zero breakdowns when cablecom was lousy my sister had cablecom and problem after problem lousy customer service.

I allow myself to post my opinion since I have the 2 suppliers.

It is clear that you must choose your supplier according to your place of residence and your needs.

UPC Cablecom may be better in one place and weak in another, just like Swisscom.

In my case Swisscom is superior in internet speed (I’m on fiber) so suits my needs and the hotline is better (I’m not saying it’s perfect but better) I tested the UPC Cablecom hotline twice this year, I I came across the Moroccan hotline twice where the person was unable to help me correctly find my customer number 😉

Do not forget also that to the prices indicated by UPC Cablecom on their products offered in particular combined, you must add 29.95.-/month (33.95.- from 2016) for the basic 3 in 1 connection

In your case UPC Cablecom seems better in service at your home

Since buewin Tv, I have only had a discount on my bill for a problem.

Since then the system has become expanded and they have more customers. They should pay attention to them, and install infrastructure, so that the bandwidth increases because this is the crux of everyone’s concerns. It offers speeds which for my part are unimaginable as the hardware restriction is so great. I still live in the 3rd French-speaking city.

4G is faster than my fixed bandwidth, so there is a problem. And sometimes the customer would like to have answers and one with a little commercial gesture in addition and he will be happy.

That. There is no moderator here? Finally, I prefer that there are technicians working to resolve the breakdown of my Swisscom Tv 2.

Since the big problem with Swisscom on Monday 08/17/2015 around 11:00 a.m., nothing at my house.

The internet box can no longer connect. Result: no TV, telephone, and especially Internet. The family’s mobile data plans will take the lead….! As well as communication since the landline is now diverted to a mobile.

In addition, you will have to take half a day off so that the technician can come in 2 days. I hope it does better than changing the case, which I could do myself…

With TV 2, all eggs in one basket. I admit that I haven’t had many breakdowns or problems and that until then I was very satisfied. But there, at the time, it annoys me prodigiously. I need to breathe calmly (and negotiate time off with my employeur!)

It is clear that Swisscom will never be able to improve the performance of this box. Apart from the only technical problems, including in my opinion that of the overheating of the box, the instability of the images and sound is chronic: live or recorded, the programs offer no guarantee of proper functioning.

I will not talk about the “Swiss AD”, which, far from highlighting the products, will soon occupy 50% of time on French channels. I thought that good products didn’t need advertising… ;-)) In the meantime, between the right to watch and the rather expensive subscriptions, we pay to watch the ad!!! Who benefits from this financial windfall? Swisscom could at least deduct part of these amounts, in order to lighten our wallets!

Anyway, despite my disappointment, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year 2016.

Heeeeeuuuuu…. Personally, I was a customer of Swisscom Box 1.0 and I was already won over, but when 2.0 came out, the big deal!

Replay over 7 days? A joy, no need to worry about scheduling the recording.

Video on demand service? GE-NIALE! Latest news, series (Hot from the US and Canal Play), in short, excellent.

Quality of the channels (sound, image, HD), nothing to complain about, except perhaps that one or two channels are missing, notably Paris Première and Teva. As for Swiss ads, it’s not Swisscom who should be blamed…

Material? No overheating problems, everything works as it should.
