In order to hide boards or categories from the users:
- got o Admin Panel
- navigate to "Allgemeine Einstellungen" - "Kategorie-Einstellungen" bzw. "Board-Einstellungen"
- enable the Setting: "Aus Listen ausblenden" (at the very bottom of the page)
Please note:
Although the board/category is hidden in the listings, it is still accessible using direct links.
> You only limit promotion of the board/category, but you do NOT prevent access to those boards/categories
In order to PREVENT users from accessing borads or categories you need to go to the permissions panel:
"Benutzerverwaltung" - "Berechtigungen" - "Edit Defaults"
You need to set all items to "deny" to completly lock out users from interacting with the board / category.
