I have distributed 50 of these devices to a group of mobile corporate users in canton of VD/CH. We have the foillowing problems.

1. Users complain of not being able to switch on the device despite holding the buttton for the necessary amount of time. Apparently removing and putting back in the battery can help sometimes.

2. The device loses its configuration.

These 2 situations account for 45 incidents in the last 3 months and we are losing confidence in the device.

Anybody seen the same problem?

I’m having the same issue (no 1).

Did you find a solution?

For some reasons the device gets stuck and only a battery removal does the trick.

I’m going to try a firmware update from here.

I’m wondering if flashing ZTE generic firmware would solve the issue (instructions here)
