CSDMV I broke my blackberry curve days ago, and I want to replace it for a new one, perhaps an iphone 5. I arrived in Geneva 1 and a half year ago. In july its going to be 2 years. But how can I know if I’m paying for insurance for my phone or not?
h-max do you have a personal liabilty contract from a local insurer here in switzerland? then there might be a chance that they replace your phone if it’s stolen or lost. but if you broke your phone yourself, chances are very little that any insurance will pay for it. 😉
CSDMV The one I’m talking of is the insurance that covers the damage, lost, or robbing of the phone. A friend of mine has that insurance and pays an extra amount of 8 francs for this insurance. I don’t know if I paying for that extra money.
h-max i am pretty sure you have one suisse 🙂 otherwise you should consider getting one: http://www.ktipp.ch/tests/1024396/Privathaftpflicht_Praemienvergleich CSDMV: how about if you simply check whether you are paying for some sort of service or not? - how should we know? by default there’s no such thing in your swisscom contract. and as far as i know swisscom does not offer any service of that kind. anyways in my opinion all these gadget insurances are not recommendable, as in the end they won’t pay (off) for you as a customer… 🙂
