Swisscom TV , unfriendly helpdesk

Hello all,

have swisscom TV here, however i not able to watch other chanel while recording a program.

Called swisscom, the sayd to restart the tv box to update it.

Did it for three times yesterday until it worked.

However, worked only till today. Same problem and the snippy, unfriendly helpdesk said have to do it again.

No clue what she is talking about, just like roboter with a tape, very unfriendly kind of person.

Does someone have same issue with swisscom TV or the Helpdesk as well? sure will not stick with this company which promise but do not hold end of the deal.

Thanks for the respons. Well guess must have just goten the the “Dragon Lady” from the helpdesk. But sure defenetely will not make me tell PPl to go with them.

Have 100000 kbps up and down.

guess has something to do with the box, as the helpdesk always wants me to reset it. Maybe they should put into operation manual. “ when using recording feature the same time you want to watch movie on other channel, reset the box for at least 10 min 3 to 4 times” you may be lucky….😃

how many swisscom tv box, how are they connected to the swisscom router?

Does the internet work well?

What kind of internet speed do you have (–> which vivo casa package 4* or 5*)?

Sure could give you more info. However, just returned tv box to replace with new one.

Have two boxes, and they are connected by cable(the white long one deliverd with it) to the grande router

I have not package. have indivitual ones. have the 10000 / 1000 internet

I have to disagree. I am swisscom client since many many years and used the hotline quite often to install modems, tv box, when problems with the connexion arose etc. and - maybe I was always lucky- I had been served always very friendly and they helped even with pc problems not directly connected with swisscom. They always took their time (up to more than one hour!!) and always managed to resolve the problem.

I have no interest or whatsoever in Swisscom but really, compared to other providers I find them very friendly and also competent or if the operator cannot help he or she will put through to a technician who can. I am very sorry you made such a bad experience - me I only made good ones.

I still wait for my new TV box which was supposed, accordingly to the helpdesk, to have arrived by last friday…..
