Portforwarding for gaming on wireless router

Hi all,

I would like to access my router to forward ports for some games online.

I tried the default user (admin) and password (1234) but it is not working.

I do not have direct, physical access to the router as I am renting a room in a building.

It is a wireless bluewin netopia swisscom router (as far as I know)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

hi, I would like to access my router but m brother changed the password and forgot it. When I clicked the link it only said: Username: admin Password. No password was shown.

I would really like a way of knowing how to find my password.

as said above, you can retrieve the password in the customer center.

follow the link and logon with your swisscom login.

When I click the link no password is displayed.

Is there any other way I can either retrieve or change it?

When I tried that link above I got a message about some activation code and could not proceed any further.

If I call Swisscom with my landlord’s account number can I get the username and password over the phone?

I didn’t even get an activation code. I just got “username:admin” and no password. When I tried this on the router it didn’t work

they will send you the password via (post) mail.

did you try to have a look in the customer center to retrieve your password?

yes, at the bottom of the ruter login page there is a link that says “Retrieve router password in Swisscom Customer Center”. Every time I click that it displays my sisscom login and m username internet access. That username and password doesn’t work either.
